Darlington, who had been detained in connection with a dispute involving fellow artist Burna Boy, was granted bail under medical grounds in October. However, after attending a performance in Owerri, he was unexpectedly detained again, accused of violating bail conditions—a claim that Alieke fiercely disputes.
